Megan Chua - Vocalist

My name is Megan Chua and I'm a first year computer science major here at SDSU. Throughout middle school and high school I was involved in showchoir, musicals, and competitive swim team. Although I also love to dance and act, singing is my main talent. Through different solos, parts in musicals, and singing competitions, I've grown to be more comfortable on stage with a mic than anything else. Coming to college, I was glad to have found APSA, and be a part of the branching groups- APSA music and APSA dance, to continue my passion for performing. All of us have been working hard to put on this show and we are excited to share all of our talents with you! (Also shoutout to Robert DeLeon for accompanying me with the guitar. You're a cool bean.)

Black Leather Couch - Band

When a bunch of dudes moved in together, they unknowingly each brought along a black leather couch to the house.  What they did know was that a bunch of wonderful music was going to be made.

This band features 4 delicious menboys, each with a wild flavor.   Michael Purugganan with the well toned glutious maximus on drums, guitar, and vocals.  Ben Roberson with the funky style on the bass and vocals.  Tony Palkovic with the tallness and wavy hair-ness on guitar and vocals.  Alex Nguyen with the well-roundedness of his midsection on the keys and vocals.

Alyssa Quy - Musician

Alyssa Quy is a 3rd year Psychology Major and Cognitive Science Minor at UCSD. She loves corgis and french fries, and always hopes to bring a smile to your face. She normally performs with Musicians' Club @ UCSD or her a capella group Daughters of Triton, but for FTS, she will be singing a solo piece for the first time.

Aaron Robles - Spoken Word Poetry

 Hello, I am Aaron Robles (20 years young), you can call me "A'Aron" or "Az." I am a 3rd year attending SDSU, I am very outdoors when I need to be and always indoors when I want to be. I play volleyball, want to become a teacher and volleyball coach for my high school (Rancho HS Alum woot woot). I am a writer and intend to publish my poetry and other works. Writing has always been a hobby of mine, until I was 13 years old (8th grade); I was in trouble for writing stories that were "R-rated" for my grade level and was suspended for my creative stories. My counselors and teachers introduced me to poetry and spoken word, and that is how I am here today. I will be performing three poems: "Time," "Love is Rose," and "Binary." Thank you.

Skylar Saxour - Filipina Singer

 Sky Saxour is a 16 year old Filipina singer, actress, and aspiring model. She currently attends the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts as a musical theatre major. Her dreams and aspirations in life are to become successful in the entertainment industry to help and inspire others. ​
